I press Ctrl-Alt-Del to force a screen refresh and get rid of the dashboard, not to access the Task Manager, although I do sometimes need to use the Task Manager to exit the program.

I discovered more issues today, this time regarding TM behavior. I'm going to write a support ticket when I have the time.
