Can't see termbase entries | Auto display matches?

Is there any way of making memoq display the termbase matches in some pane, rather than having to hover the mouse over the highlighted source word?

When I try to access the HTTPS Memo Q website, be it in IE11, Chrome or Mozilla, I cannot open the site, I get the error message Secured connection cannot be established.
All the suggestions in IE for settings are correct.

It works here (Chrome). Http is automatically redirected to https.

I would try to clear the cache and delete all MemoQ cookies as a first step.

You could also try to restart any router, as routers sometimes end up messing up things.

A computer restart could also be attempted, as the network status also sometimes gets messed up on computers.

If that doesn't help, I'd ask MemoQ support.

A nice way to simplify translating repetitions:

... create a view with one-per-repetition segments
... translate them in the view
... propagate them in one sweep

- without the pesky "jump-to-the-next-untranslated" behaviour in the single-file frame.

[edit] PS: I guess the subject of propagation is a little more complicated: i am getting 100% matches, that are not repeats (probably due to tags). Still a nice example of a dual use(g)

I just use the "3" key with the French keyboard layout.
Another option is the "Insert Symbol" command button in the "Edit" menu.
But I'm not sure what you mean by "changing" quotation marks... You mean automatically in the whole document?

Hi,

I would like to know if anybody else has noticed issues with the compare versions function in memoQ since memoQ 8.4.

Whenever we activate compare versions -> against last inserted match , make a change to the segment and deactivate the function after making that change, double spaces are inserted in the source and target segment.

The issue still persists in memoQ 8.6.

I cannot believe that we are the only ones who have noticed this issue.

Does memoQ have a simple progress bar just like Trados that would display the percentage of "not translated, draft, translated" words in a file you are working on?
The designated terms might differ. I am mostly interested in the "draft" percentage bit. MemoQ seems to change the colour of the match percentage "cell" so it acknowledges editing but nothing else seems to be changing live.

I have tried this solution offer, but it did not work. I saved the file as different (from docx to doc), uploaded in again to MemoQ and used the same TM, do pre translate go over and confirm the segments but could not export again!. The message box reads as "The export failed because of incorrectly paired "hlnk" tags."

Frits, I am getting a similar problem when trying to save a string in a SPECIFIC online project. Deleting the project (completely, from the recycle bin too) did not help. Can you tell me if and how you resolved this?

The new IATE has landed in November 2018 and now I can't find out how to edit Web Search settings so that it shows me the search results in my language combination instead of IATE's home page. Can anyone help me with that?

Hello! This is my first question here
I have a number of TM memory files, imported in memoQ
While translating new text, is there a way to show examples of this single word appearences, based on translation memory?
Simply, I want to see examples of how this word was used (or translated) previously in translation memory.
As far as I know, memoQ shows variant on sentences only if source sentence match the TM sentence more that 50%
