Unless your original source document was an Excel file, there is no way you can export your translation to Excel directly. One (indirect) way is to export as two-column RTF first, and then to copy/paste the relevant columns from the RTF into an Excel sheet (as I've already mentioned in an earlier post in this thread).
If I were you, I would still offer the RTF first, even if your client requested Excel. It's just more convenient for reviewing purposes, and hopefully your client will be smart enough to realize that himself (once he gets to see what the RTF looks like).
